Gamelan Music

On Monday we went to the music centre to play a selection of instruments from Java, an island in Indonesia.This linked nicely to our are topic 'Kensuke's Kingdom' which is based on an island in the South Pacific. In our groups we played a variety of percussion instruments which were very different to the percussion instruments we are used to. Mr Ball, the music teacher, helped us to perform a piece of music which sounded amazing!
